Canon EOS R50

I started Photography using the Canon 7D Mark II, this camera is what made me fall in love with photography, as a few years went on I wanted a camera that offered me more features. The EOS R50 offers beautiful 4K video, FHD up to 120fps, lightning fast auto focus with 651 AF points compared to the 65 AF points in the 7D Mark II and super smooth tracking for eyes, vehicles and animals.

Custom Battery Grip

As much as I enjoy how lightweight the R50 is, The camera itself is quite small and I knew straight away I wanted a grip. I previously used a battery grip on my 7D but due to the EOS R50 being described as "Entry level" Canon do not produce a battery grip for it. CBG (Custom battery grips) make 3rd party grips for a wide range of cameras and fit my needs perfectly.

K&F EF/RF Adaptor

Due to switching from the EF Mount on the 7D to the RF-S mount on the R50 I needed an adaptor to allow me to use my previous lenses. I do plan on switching to RF /RF-S lenses in the future but due to the range of lenses and the price of RF lenses currently I am more than happy using an adaptor.

Canon EF-S 17-55 F/2.8

I have 3 main lenses I keep in my camera bag this is one. At 17mm I can capture stunning landscapes with the option to zoom and isolate subjects. I also use this lens if I want gorgeous bokeh due to the low and constant aperture of F/2.8 all while giving me excellent image quality

Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM

My most recent purchase, versatile and a high-quality zoom lens which is on my camera almost more than any other due do its light weight and versatility. Whether I'm trackside, walking through stunning Caledonian Forests or in a field with dogs that have way to much energy, this lens allows me to capture stunning shots.

Sigma 150-600 F/5-6.3 Sport

This lens can be a workout, at almost 3KG it can be tough carrying it about all day. Using it on my APS-C R50 it gives me an effective focal length of 240mm to 960mm, This is absolutely perfect for wildlife as I can be far enough away to not disturb the animals but punch right in and capture stunning shots. I also mainly use this at any motorsport events, I was recently at Donnington Park which is much bigger than my local Knockhill so the extra focal length was perfect.
